ACCEPTABLE USES
You may use this site for legitimate shopping purposes only. Odyssey Homestore Free Shipping Policy

Free Shipping:
At Odyssey Homestore we are currently offering free shipping on MOST items! We can't promise how long this will last. Like all offers, it's subject to change at any time. Items that are on the product page of the web site marked Free Shipping will be shipped for free to the contiguous 48 states. Free Shipping includes standard shipping via common carrier such as UPS, FedEx or LTL Freight only to the 48 contiguous United States. Shipping to Hawaii, Alaska or Canada may incur additional shipping charges, as well as the delivery area surcharge noted below.

Please Note:
Shipment of your order will be by the fastest, most reliable means possible. We have many shipping companies to choose from and will make sure that your order will be delivered using the best company for that job. When you place your order you will receive a confirmation e-mail letting you know that your order was received. When your order ships from the manufacturer we will notify you via e-mail with your tracking number. You may wish to track your order using the service of the shipping company and check on its progress online or by phone with the shipping company. Another way to track your order is by using My Account, just click My Account at www.odysseyhomestore.com web site.

Small Package Delivery

Shipping of smaller or lighter items are handled thru UPS, FEDEX or USPS. Depending on how close you are to the manufacturers warehouse, your item will arrive between 1 and 6 business days, and for orders shipped via USPS 1 to 10 business days after it leaves the manufacturer's warehouse.

In most cases an adult is not required to sign for the delivery, but please know even if no signature is required to leave your package it is still at the discretion of the delivery person to leave it at your door step. The best thing to do, if you need to have the item left at your door step, is to leave a note on your door instructing the driver to leave the package with No Signature Required. Include on the note your name and tracking number.

Damage During Delivery
Items must be inspected for damage at time of delivery. Notification of damages must be submitted in writing within 7 business days of product delivery.  All items must be inspected for damage before assembly.  Should damage or defects occur, customer must contact Odyssey Homestore in writing prior to assembly.  Products that have been assembled or modified cannot be returned for any reason per manufacturers’ guidelines.

General Return Policy


Please refer to individual product order pages for specific conditions regarding manufacturing lead times, additional shipping parameters and/or other additional options regarding your order which, if different, will override Odyssey Homestore's General Return Policy.

If within 10 business days of receiving your product you feel your purchase is not perfect for you, simply let us know and we'll arrange for your return. Odyssey Homestore offers free shipping on all domestic orders (in other words the lower 48) via UPS or Fed Ex Ground or LTL Freight shipping. Online shopping has grown but with many online stores, the return policy is in the dark ages. Odyssey Homestore wants to make your transaction with us as smooth as if you went shopping just around the corner. You won't find any fine print in our return policy, but we do recommend that you read it thoroughly and carefully and call us if you have any questions.

Manufacturer's Defects
All of our products are warranted to be free of manufacturing defects. While very uncommon, if for some reason a defect has occurred with a product, the customer must contact us via e-mail within 2 business days of product delivery and Odyssey Homestore will correct the defect: We reserve the right to repair, replace or refund such merchandise at Odyssey Homestore's discretion. Our refund policy does not cover items damaged due to misuse, neglect, wind, weather conditions or other "Acts of God". It is the customer's responsibility to properly care for, maintain, store and safely use the products ordered. If any questions arise regarding proper use, please e-mail questions to customer service by clicking here.

Preference Returns
If you are not 100% delighted with your purchase, request for returns must be made in writing within 10 business days of item delivery. The customer/purchaser must contact Odyssey Homestore in writing within 10 business days of item delivery via e-mail in order to obtain an RA# prior to returning any product. All return items must have a valid Return Authorization number (RA#) prior to being returned to the manufacturer. Should any questions arise, it is the customer's responsibility to contact
Odyssey Homestore for further clarifications. Odyssey Homestore is not liable to credit funds of any type or contact any customer regarding items that have been returned without prior written authorization and an approved Return Authorization number. Please Note: Free Shipping means Odyssey Homestore pays the freight charges to have your order shipped to you. To keep our costs down and continue offering our Price Match Guarantee, Odyssey Homestore will deduct the shipping/freight charges we paid to send the item to you from your refund if you choose to return the item for reasons other than manufacturer's defect, also known as a "Preference Return." Additionally, as is standard procedure in online shopping, customer is responsible for shipping costs to return the item back to the manufacturer if returning for a reason other than manufacturer's defect (Preference Return).

How to Prepare a Return:

Return Requests must be done in writing by logging in to your account here, responding to a previous email/invoice sent to you by Odyssey Homestore, emailing returns@odysseyhomestore.com or by going to our Contact Us page here. At this time, we do not offer Return Requests by phone. Our Return Department will process your request within 1 business day and email you instructions to use for your return. You will need to package your return in the original packing, write the Return Authorization Code in bold letters and return by the same method it was delivered to you. You must follow these instructions carefully. Failure to do so will prevent the processing of your return, and delay your refund.

Please note that items which show signs of use or that have been altered or damaged in any way cannot be accepted for return. Returns to the manufacturer without a Return Authorization Code will be refused and customer will be responsible for return shipping costs. Odyssey Homestore is not responsible for improperly packaged or uninsured items that are damaged during transit.

  • Holiday items and Items that have been customized are not-returnable after December 24th without clear manufacturers defect. Please contact us at 888-564-5744 within 7 days of receipt and tell us what the problem is. We will do our very best to resolve the issue.
  • Returns after 10 days will be handled on a case by case basis. They may be exchanged or refunded with a merchandise gift certificate for the value of the original purchase price, less any discounts given on original order.
  • Discounted and promotional items that are returned under this policy will be reduced to reflect the value of any free gift or discount.
  • We cannot accept returns on monogrammed, personalized or Final Sale items.
  • Merchandise Gift Certificates are non-refundable unless required by State Law
  • Some large and oversized merchandise items are not eligible for return due to prohibitive shipping costs or are subject to restocking and shipping and handling fees, including furniture, unless prohibited by State Law. Products will clearly state this if this is the case.

Simply put the items you wish to purchase in our Shopping Cart and choose the "International Checkout" option. Your items will be transferred to International Checkout for processing. The above terms also apply to the shipment of any replacement product that might be shipped if there is a problem with the original shipment. If you return a product to us, you will be the exporter from the destination country. Title and risk of loss transfer to us upon receipt by Odyssey Homestore. LTL Freight Delivery

Truck Delivery: Many of the items we have on our web site are just too large or heavy to be delivered by UPS, FEDEX or the other light carrier services. These items are shipped using Truck Delivery or Freight Carriers. Freight Carriers are different from a UPS, FedEx or US Mail delivery. Once your item or items arrive at the shipping companys local terminal, an agent for the shipping company will call you to set up a delivery time, usually a 2 to 4 hour delivery window for the appointment will be needed. Most of the trucking companies offer delivery services between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm Monday through Friday.

Self Service Truck Delivery: Typical delivery includes Self Service Truck Delivery: your item or items will be delivered to your driveway or curb side outside your address. Its called Self Service because it will be up to you to move your item off the truck yourself, so you may want to make sure you have some friends, family or neighbors there to help you in getting your delivery off the truck.

Lift Gate Services: If removing the item yourself from the truck is not possible due to health or age restrictions, Lift Gate Services are usually available. It is called Lift Gate Services for a reason; many trucking companies have special trucks which use lift gates. A lift gate will move your item from the truck to the ground for you to move. The driver will not move the item into your home, you will need to do that yourself.

Indoor Delivery and Set Up: Sometimes freight carriers offer their own services. Once we send your tracking information, you can call the carrier directly to get more information. If you need your order delivered indoors, please call us at (888) 564 - 4744 for a quotes prior to or after submitting your order.

Damage Inspection: When your item arrives to you it is imperative that you take time to inspect your package. If the box that your item was shipped in appears damaged or if you have concerns about its packaging or how it was delivered, please write, Product Damaged clearly on the paper work the driver asks you to sign. This insures that if the item is damaged it will be easier to take care of the problem. It is also recommended that you take pictures of the damage and submit the pictures to us by email to customer service by clicking here so we may forward the pictures to the manufacturer to assist in the handling of the claim.

Shipping Damage Policy
IF DAMAGED IN SHIPPING:  If your package arrives damaged during shipping, please refuse the package or return the package marked "Refused due to shipping damage." You must notify us within two days so we can file a claim with Fed Ex or UPS.  Please include your name, phone number, and sales receipt number. Failure to do so will result in loss of refund or replacement by Fed Ex or UPS.
KEEP PACKAGING:  Save boxes, packaging material, and paperwork. Don't throw anything away. These are required items for all return issues.


Delivery Area Surcharge: also known as an Extended Area Surcharge or Remote Area Surcharge may be added to the service cost of delivering your item or package. In some cases it is a City Ordinance. These surcharges are applied to areas which are less accessible for deliveries. We will notify you of any surcharges prior to shipping your order. In most cases, people usually know if they are in a remote or delivery area that surcharges will be required, but if you are unsure, please feel free to call us at (888) 564 - 4744 and well be happy to assist you.

Restocking Fee:


Odyssey Homestore works with dozens of manufacturers, some of which may require a restocking fee when returning their items. Odyssey Homestore works diligently on the customer's behalf to mitigate any restocking fees, but occasionally restocking fees can not be avoided. We promise to notify our customers upon receipt of Return Authorization Request if that is the case.

Sales Tax:


At this time, we are required to charge sales tax if your order is shipped to California or Arizona only. All other states will not be charged sales tax.

Cancellation and Change Policy:

Odyssey Homestore has fully researched the fastest way to get your product to you so that you may enjoy it sooner! Our orders are placed with our manufacturers the same day they are received, often within minutes, so you will get your orders as quickly as possible. Any and all changes to the order MUST be requested within 24 hours to ensure that we can make the change, unless it is a Quick Ship item that was processed and shipped the same day. Should you still want to request a change to an order that has already shipped, it may be done using our preference return guidelines. If your order is refused upon delivery, the fees will be deducted from the refund. We will work with you, so please keep us updated and apprised of any actions.

Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via e-mail, and/or standard post - this is for your protection. All cancellation confirmations will be sent via the same form of communication as the customer-initiated cancellation request. If you do not receive a cancellation confirmation, please contact our Customer Service department immediately. The customer/purchaser is responsible for all incurred costs including shipping in both directions if this procedure has not been confirmed and completed in written format. Should an item be refused delivery without proper authorization, customer shall be responsible for incurred costs as well.

Important Note: If a custom or special order including special order fabric has been processed to a manufacturer AND the work has been started, performed or completed, the custom/special order is considered non-cancellable.
